Everyone has been raving about this contour kit for a while, it's probably the most well-known powder contour kit from the drug store.
I had heard mixed reviews about this product and I wasn't sure if I wanted it or not. I'd heard the banana coloured powder was incredible but the rest of the kit wasn't the best.
I eventually decided to buy it and test it out myself. I am very impressed with the banana powder, it's the perfect matte highlighter for setting your concealer under your eyes and highlighting the high points of the face.
The other two highlighting colours aren't as bright, they are both more pink toned but I do like them. One of them is slightly shimmery, it works as a subtle highlight for the tops of the cheeks, nose and cupid's bow.
The contour colours aren't the best. I like the colour to the left as it most as it suits my skin tone. Except they are very hard to work with, if you aren't careful they will look very harsh and muddy on the skin.
However I find if I only use a tiny bit of the product and a small, fluffy brush and use a very light hand; the contour can look natural.
You can slowly build up the product for a more intense highlight, but I'd recommend not going in all at once. Otherwise, you'll look like a pirate with mud on their face.
I think this is why so many people leave bad reviews about the contour powders in this palette. However if used correctly and carefully they actually look really nice.
There are definitely better powder contour palettes out there, but it depends if you think it's worth spending the money.
